Monday, July 13th, 2043
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Aaron Tuttle of the Barton Springs Blues had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 14-0 win over the Asheville Highlanders at Blues Field.
"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."
Aaron Tuttle singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
In his stats this season, Tuttle has posted a batting average of .289 with 59 hits in 204 at-bats, 4 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has also scored 41 runs, walked 22 times and compiled a .357 OBP.
