Monday, July 13th, 2043
Every now and then, everything just comes together.
Bang-xao Li discovered that today at Blue Sox Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 8-2 Marquette Miners win over the Irving Blue Sox.
"I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Marquette third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it."
Li finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 6 RBIs.
Bang-xao Li hit a three-run home run off Jimmy Evans in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jimmy Evans in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ben Gillespie in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
Li currently has a .300 batting average with 63 hits, 10 homers, 36 RBIs, 33 runs scored and a .366 OBP.
