Tinker Garners 3AA Top Skipper Award Saturday, October 10th, 2043 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Phillip Tinker, he seems to have taken the Yakima Hops to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the M3L Double A for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Tinker led Yakima to a first place finish in the Menard's AA. The Hops ended up with a 61-41 record. |
