Best 3AA Reliever Named Thursday, October 8th, 2043 He may only be 23, but Steve Smith of the Minnesota Loons has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the M3L Double A. The reliever was today named the 3AA Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2043. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 11 saves in 37 relief appearances and 62 strikeouts in 65.2 innings. He had a record of 7-4 to go with his 2.06 ERA. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. José García of the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Rich Conklin of the Lancaster Farmers finished third.
