Rivera's Strong Week Earns 3AA Trophy Monday, August 3rd, 2043 So far in his young career, José Rivera has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Toledo Saboteurs center fielder hit at a torrid .458 clip as he collected 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the year Rivera has hit at a .364 clip with 11 RBIs, 3 home runs and 6 runs scored. |
