Oleastro Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Monday, July 13th, 2043 Juan Oleastro collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Hialeah Dodos, beat the Florida Men 9-4. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Oleastro quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Juan Oleastro grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. For the season Oleastro has hit .298 with 5 home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 55 games and scored 32 times. |
