Monsters George Runnalls Wins SAAA Award Monday, July 6th, 2043 23-year-old George Runnalls made a few Monongahela headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Runnalls collected no home runs, 0 RBIs and scored 3 runs. To date this year Runnalls is batting .318 with 2 home runs. |
