SAAA's Best Batter Selected Tuesday, September 1st, 2043 Kyle Fitzgerald put together a good August to earn the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Pennsauken officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Flyers catcher posted a .329 batting average with 10 home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Fitzgerald is batting .244 with 26 home runs and 64 RBIs. In 80 games he has scored 54 times. |
