Warriors Páez Snags SAAA Player of the Week Monday, August 31st, 2043 So far in his young career, Ignacio Páez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Forest City Warriors catcher hit at a torrid .643 clip as he collected 9 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Páez has delivered 35 hits in 121 at-bats for a .289 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .434 clip and his totals also include 29 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This year Páez has played in 35 games. |
