Barrage of Hits Gets Oleastro SAAA Award Monday, August 24th, 2043 So far in his young career, Juan Oleastro has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Hialeah Dodos right fielder hit at a torrid .591 clip as he collected 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Oleastro is batting .321 with 100 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 51 times and has 40 runs batted in. |
