League Suspends Torres and Johnston for Brawl Sunday, August 23rd, 2043 Vicente Torres of the Pennsauken Flyers and Jeffery Johnston of the Hialeah Dodos will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Flyers-Dodos game at Pennsauken Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Torres and Johnston will begin serving them soon. Thus far this season, Johnston has worked 37 innings with 14 strikeouts en route to a 1-3 record and a 9.24 ERA. |
