Trouble in Monongahela, Lowe Suffers Setback Wednesday, July 29th, 2043 Roy Lowe is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for back spasms. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Monsters sent the 26-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Lowe told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Lowe will now miss a minimum of 5 days. Looking at his season stats to date, Lowe has 2 saves in 5 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 2.84 ERA. |
