Almanzar and Amador Brawl, League Suspends Them
Tuesday, July 14th, 2043
If there wasn't a history between Angeddy Almanzar of Hartford and Patrick Amador of Alaskan, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Almanzar said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
For the season Almanzar is currently batting .226 with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs. In 21 games he has reached base at a .284 rate and scored 9 runs to date.
For the year Amador has compiled a 0-1 record with a 6.64 ERA.
