Alaskan Clinches Wild Card Thursday, September 17th, 2043 The Alaskan Humpbacks may not go on to win a PL AAA Championship, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said starting pitcher Javier Montés. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 61-39, the Humpbacks will now look to bring the 3rd PL AAA Championship championship to Alaskan. |
