Álvarez Caps Great Week Monday, September 14th, 2043 In the twilight of his career, 35-year-old Mario Álvarez of Port Royal recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. "I've been playing since I was a kid," Álvarez told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success." Álvarez outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 4 hits in 4 at-bats, no home runs, and 4 RBIs to stake his claim to the award.
