No Playoff Berth Coming for Syracuse Friday, September 4th, 2043 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Syracuse Starks. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Starks left fielder Pepe Savinon. Syracuse last appeared in the postseason in 2030. This is their 13th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 28-year history. Syracuse last won the PL AAA Championship in 2030. |
