Roosevelt Cartledge Captures PAAA Award Monday, August 24th, 2043 22-year-old Roosevelt Cartledge made a few Sacramento headlines during this past week as the rookie second baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .481 average. Cartledge collected 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 8 runs. This year Cartledge is hitting at a .500 pace with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 7 games and scored 10 times. |
