Adrian Newell Injured, Out for Season Tuesday, September 15th, 2043 The season is apparently over for Adrian Newell. The Austin Black Mambas medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4-5 months with bone chips in his elbow. Newell was hurt in the game against Port Huron while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date this season Newell has compiled a 1-3 record with a 4.19 ERA in 9 starts. |
