August's Best 3L Rookie Named Tuesday, September 1st, 2043 John Wilkerson earned August's Rookie of the Month honors in the Menard's Third League for last month's performance. The boyish Detroit left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Wilkerson hit .321 with 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. This year Wilkerson is batting .275 with 92 hits, 16 home runs, 57 RBIs, 71 walks, .401 OBP and has scored 66 runs. |
