Top PA Reliever Honored
Saturday, September 26th, 2043
At the age of 22, James Tucker says he still has a lot to learn about life in USPL Single A.
But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Rocky Mountain Vibes reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2043 USPL Single A Reliever of the Year Award.
"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Woodbridge, New Jersey native said.
For the season, Tucker had 22 saves in 44 relief appearances, which totaled 59.1. He fanned 70 betters, while walking 11 and put up a record of 6-3 to go with his 1.82 ERA.
He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10. Jerry Mander of the Caldwell Chiefs finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Lance Simmons of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks finished third with 1 first place vote.
