CF Weinstein Given 4-Game Suspension Monday, August 10th, 2043 As a result of his tirade and temper tantrum during yesterday's Arryns-Vibes game at Bellevue Field, Lake Erie center fielder Erik Weinstein will get some time off. He was issued a 4-game suspension by the league commissioner. Weinstein was suspended for verbally abusing and physically bumping the home plate umpire after being ejected for arguing over a third strike. Thus far in 2043 Weinstein is hitting .261 with 7 home runs, 30 RBIs, 36 runs scored and has compiled a .337 OBP. |
