USSL Single A's Best Batter Announced Monday, July 6th, 2043 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the USSL Single A. The award went to Bernard Cornwell, right fielder of the Mancelona Torch. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .417 average to win the honor. Cornwell went 10-for-24 for the week, totaled 2 home runs and 12 RBIs and scored 5 times. This season Cornwell is batting .244 with 43 hits, 6 home runs, 27 RBIs, .321 OBP and has scored 21 runs. |
