Season-Ending Injury for António Haritos Friday, May 8th, 2043 The doctors have spoken and António Haritos of the Monroeville Yinzers didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Haritos sustained his season-ending injury during the Mancelona Torch game yesterday at Torch Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Monroeville medical staff reported Haritos had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months. |
