Sherwin Tacod Chosen SA's Top Player Tuesday, September 29th, 2043 He may have less experience than most of his USSL Single A peers, but that didn't slow Sherwin Tacod down at all in 2043. At the age of 22, the Kent second baseman has been named the winner of the USSL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .250 batting average and a .342 on-base percentage this year. In 95 games he piled up 89 hits, 26 doubles, 5 triples, 15 home runs, 57 RBIs and 57 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Elliot Reid of the Kent Comets finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Kenny Dixon of the Belleville Bulls finished third.
