Comets Win Tight Silver A Race Saturday, September 5th, 2043 Elliot Reid said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Kent Comets teammates were so excited to celebrate their Silver A championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 59-35 record on the season. It is the club's 4th Silver A championship and puts them in position for their 3rd USSL Single A championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Noel Ballard said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
