Laredo-Kennesaw Brawl, Gómez and Washington Suspended Sunday, August 2nd, 2043 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Laredo-Kennesaw contest at Hawks Field. The Hawks Alonso Gómez and the Jets Stu Washington will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Gómez is hitting at a .202 pace with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 23 times. This year Washington has a 2-3 record with a 3.16 ERA. |
