Season-Ending Injury for Azeem bin Amin

The season is ending on a bad note for Azeem bin Amin, closer for the Niagara Falls Expos. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. bin Amin was hurt against the Idaho Falls Chukars while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 10 months.

To date, bin Amin has registered a 2-0 won-lost mark, has 11 relief appearances and rung up 3 saves. He has a 2.40 ERA and has allowed 10 hits over his 15 innings of work, struck out 11 batters and walked 6.
