League Suspends Dobson, Failed Drug Test Wednesday, September 2nd, 2043 The Idaho Falls Chukars told the press today at a news conference at Idaho Falls Park that starting pitcher Joshua Dobson would soon begin serving a 80-game suspension for using an illegal controlled substance in violation of league rules. The club official said, "Joshua will not contest this and will accept the punishment. He acknowledged his error and vowed not to do this again. We, as an organization, do not condone this conduct and will do all we can to keep this from occurring in the future." In 18 starts this season, Dobson has recorded 2 wins and absorbed 12 losses. He has pitched 92 innings, allowed 124 hits, struck out 109 and has a 6.65 ERA. |
