Week's Best Player Honored by PL Monday, August 31st, 2043 Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids first baseman Javier Seco rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the United States Premier League. Seco put up a .529 batting average (9-for-17) with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 5 times. So far this year Seco has hit .337 with 15 home runs, 37 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
