Pruitt Set to Retire
Sunday, July 26th, 2043
Joe Pruitt said he's made enough money in professional baseball, so it's time to move on.
"I did pretty well for myself, my bank account isn't hurting, maybe I'll become a manager or a team owner or something so I can make even more," he said, announcing this season would be his last. "I'm 37 years old, so I've still got some time to make something of the rest of my life."
Pruitt has made 54 games with no saves in his career. His record includes 20 wins and 18 losses with a 3.62 ERA and 186 strikeouts in 263.2 innings.
