Matsumoto Leads Bullets to Win
The Baltimore Bullets and Hollywood Shredders lit up the scoreboard at The Hollywood Bowl.

The Baltimore Bullets bested the Hollywood Shredders by a score of 10-8, with first baseman Tetsu Matsumoto getting the main credit. On the day, Matsumoto was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6 for the Bullets. Baltimore reliever Govaart van Ankeren picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tony Alfonso was saddled with the loss.

In the top of the first, Matsumoto pounced on a 2-2 splitter from Tony Alfonso and hit a 3-run home run. It put Baltimore on top, 3-0.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Matsumoto.

With the win, Baltimore boosts its record to 7-12.
