Knights Need Extras to Top Voodoo

Kingston Township rode a fine outing from starter Francisco Díaz to victory over the New Orleans Voodoo at The Voodoo Lounge. The final score was 4-2. Kingston Township reliever Stu Searle picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Ramón Aragón was saddled with the loss. David Blake locked down his 1st save.
Kingston Township took a 3-2 lead on Juan Romero's 40th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Romero hit in the top of the 12th, left New Orleans pitcher Ramón Aragón shaking his head.
"We did enough to win," said Díaz.
Even with the win, the Knights have a dismal 24-46 record.
