|
Seattle Rocketeers starter Tim Tate kept the Buckhead Bowties hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 9-1 win. The first-place Rocketeers lifted their record to 43-25.
It was a remarkable effort from Tate, who is one of the team leaders. Tate recorded 9 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 3 hits. Tate, who is tied for 7th in the SL in wins with 6, moves to 6-1 on the year with 67 strikeouts.
