Multi-HR Day for Mellor as Knights Overpower Dirty Reds, 9-5
It was a fun time at Cloverdale Legion Park, where the San Mateo Dirty Reds and Kingston Township Knights tangled.

The Kingston Township Knights beat the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 9-5, at Cloverdale Legion Park. The Knights got a fine performance from designated hitter Ed Mellor, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3. Even with the win, the Knights have a dismal 22-44 record.

Jorge Ozezera chipped in for Kingston Township with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI.
