Pivotal Game Goes to Host Grey Wolves, 2-1
|
Vancouver designated hitter José Arras rose to the occasion at Wolf Den in Vancouver today, earning player of the game honors after driving the Grey Wolves to a crucial Game victory over the Nova Scotia Leviathan. Arras went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once as the Grey Wolves took the 2-1 win to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 2044.
Arras delivered in the bottom of the third inning for Vancouver. With the game tied and a runner on 1st, the designated hitter hit a 2-run home run to right-center.
"Both teams played hard," said Vancouver manager David Krause.
