Raucous Blues Field Crowd Propels Blues to 5-2 Victory; Series Tied at 2

The Barton Springs Blues topped the Yakima Hops by the score of 5-2 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the 3L AA Championship today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Barton Springs starter Ryan Riley, who threw 8 innings allowing 2 runs in the win.
John Gaudet hit a 2-run triple off William Stevens in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Blues in front, 3-2. Gaudet had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Riley.
The next game is set to be played Sunday at Hops Park. The scheduled starters for the game are Kyle Horton for the Barton Springs Blues and Timo Noordam for the the Yakima Hops.
