When he got to Fort Knox, Clark Ritchie was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the PL R Championchip.

The 20-year-old rookie right-hander shut out the host Memphis Music 1-0 in a remarkable performance at The Stage in Memphis today. With the win, the Centennial took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 PL R Championchip.

Ritchie allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 7 innings for the Centennial. He walked 0 and struck out 7.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ritchie said after the game.

The next game is scheduled for Friday in Ft. Knox.
