Huntington Breaks Through for First Win in SL A Championship; Now Trails 2-1
The Huntington Hermit Crabs have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Kent Comets, winning 5-3 at The Shell today. Hermit Crabs left-hander Steve Baker was named player of the game after he threw 7 innings allowing 2 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Hermit Crabs to 2-1 in the best-of-5 SL A Championship.

The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Hermit Crabs were trailing 2-1. Keith Nash delivered a two-out 2-run double for Huntington, catapulting his team into the lead.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Nash told the Huntington Times.

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow in Huntington. Slated to start are Billy Ramsey for Kent and Francisco González for Huntington.
