Thrice as Nice: Kingston Township Seizes - Advantage With Late Win
The Kingston Township Knights took the first game of the Silver League Championship in dramatic fashion today, topping the Detroit Elite 6-5 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Knights right-hander Currito Fonseca was selected player of the game, as he threw 7 innings allowing 5 runs.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter DeMarvion Overshown came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Detroit pitcher King Kelly, he hit a 2-2 cutter for a run-scoring triple. It was a game-changer, putting Kingston Township on top, 6-5.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Fonseca.
