Pivotal Game Goes to Host Pandas, 2-1
The Montana Pandas faced a challenging opponent in Toledo Stingers left-hander Craig Fitzgerald, but did just enough to squeak out a 2-1 win in Game of the Third League Championship today. Montana now leads - in the best-of- series. The Pandas won despite the Stingers getting an excellent start from starter Fitzgerald, who allowed 2 earned runs at scattered 3 hits over 7.1 innings.

Tony Randolph, the Montana designated hitter, contributed a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 2-0, Pandas. For the game, Randolph went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It's a huge change in atmosphere versus last game," Randolph said after the win. "I feel like we're back in the mix now. We just can't let up."
