Still Kicking: Toledo Cut Montana Series Lead to - With Late Win
The Toledo Stingers took the first game of the Third League Championship in dramatic fashion today, topping the Montana Pandas 6-5 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Stingers right-hander Ricky Sellers was selected player of the game, as he threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Anselmo Berneu came to bat in the bottom of the 12th. Facing Montana pitcher Jim Sison, he hit a 2-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toledo on top, 6-5.

"It's a gut punch," Pandas manager Andrew Schupick said, "to get here and find ourselves down - in the blink of an eye."
