The Ft. Worth Cattlemen have a critical edge over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids in the Round 1, thanks to the veteran arm of Gustavo Tobías.
Tobías, 35, put on a dominant performance at Atlantica today, leading the Cattlemen to victory, 3-0, in a pivotal Game . Ft. Worth is now one game away from the United States Premier League Championship, leading the best-of- series by a margin of - . Northern Virginia will need to win both remaining games to advance.
It could have been a different outcome for Ft. Worth, had it not been for Javier Sierra, the 33-year old left fielder . Sierra contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Ft. Worth up, 1-0.
