Almost There: Hollywood On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 5-3 Win
Game was big. So was Lloyd Natoff.

The Hollywood starter rose to the occasion at Cloverdale Legion Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Shredders to a crucial 5-3 victory over the Kingston Township Knights. Natoff threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball as the Shredders won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 1.

It could have been a different outcome for Hollywood, had it not been for Jerry Yates, the 35-year old catcher . Yates contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the sixth inning to put Hollywood up, 2-1.

"We were a little off-kilter to start the series, but we're getting things figured out now," Hollywood manager Bill Cheese told reporters. "At least I hope we are."
