The Vancouver Grey Wolves are one game away from a sweep after taking a 4-3, walk-off win over the visiting Kingston Township Knights at Wolf Den in Vancouver today. Grey Wolves right-hander Johnny Jones was named player of the game for a strong outing in which he threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball. Vancouver now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Third League Championship.

John Hawley chipped in for Vancouver with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Jones said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."
