Thrice as Nice: Toledo Seizes - Advantage With Late Win
The Toledo Stingers are now one game away from a sweep of the Mississippi Mockingbirds after a dramatic walk-off win in the 10th inning at Pacesetter Park today. Stingers right-hander Chris Holland was named player of the game in the 3-2 victory for a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Toledo holds a - advantage in the best-of- Third League Championship.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Anselmo Berneu came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Mississippi pitcher Jeff Mahl, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toledo on top, 3-2.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Holland.
