The Westwood Sixshooters beat the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 10-4, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The Sixshooters got a fine performance from center fielder Magnus Fjord, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a double and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Sixshooters record now stands at 34-53.

Fjord had a key at-bat for Westwood early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and gave Westwood an early 2-0 lead.
