Screaming Eagles Knock Off Sixshooters at Sixshooters Stadium

The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 8-1, at Sixshooters Stadium. Enrique Emperador was named player of the game for Mercer Island. His 4 hits included 2 singles and 2 triples, in addition to the 1 run he scored and 3 he knocked in. Dawson Randolph got the win, improving to 10-3. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 5. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Screaming Eagles.
Tony Parra drove in one run for Mercer Island. The 21-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Raúl Reyes. It was his 17th RBI of the season.
