Eclipse Fall to .500 After Loss to Thunder Hawks

Ft. Polk South withstood an impressive performance by Northville left fielder John Kersey to defeat the Eclipse, 7-2, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Kersey went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ft. Polk South bumps their record to 34-42 with the win.
John Allen, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2040 draft, aided the Ft. Polk South cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman drew 2 walks.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Allen.
