Nuevo Mexico used the clutch hitting of Alfredo Valdéz to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to give the Mariachis the lead, 1-0. For the game, Valdéz had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
