Fighting Imps Win at Ft. Polk South, 6-5
|
The Fighting Imps had to overcome a fine performance from Ft. Polk South pitcher António Morterero to grab a 6-5 win at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Morterero allowed 1 earned run over 5.2 innings. Surya Prawiranega earned the win for Ithaca. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 7 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 4-7. Ithaca now owns a record of 25-42.
Da-xia Hui, who is rated as the 74th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Ithaca cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4.
